Post-Construction Window Cleaning for General Contractors

Final cleaning lands at the worst point in a project — the schedule is compressed, several trades are still finishing, and the owner walk is on the calendar. What a GC needs from a window cleaner at that stage is a firm date, a realistic scope and no surprises at the punch walk.

How we scope construction glass

We look at the glass before quoting. Stucco splatter, concrete slurry, paint overspray, sealant, adhesive and metal fines all behave differently, and some residues cannot be removed without risking the glass or its coating. We will not promise removal of every type of construction debris sight unseen, and we will not apply an aggressive scraping approach building-wide as a default. Where a residue calls for a riskier method we test an inconspicuous area first and give you the result in writing.

• Phased by building, floor or elevation on larger sites
• Sequenced after overhead trades finish at each elevation
• Defined punch-list return rather than an open-ended promise
• COI, W-9 and project documentation supplied before mobilization
• Site-specific safety and access requirements confirmed in advance
